From a Single Land Cruiser to Tanzania's Most Trusted Bespoke Safari House
Tanzania Bespoke Expeditions began in 2008 with one Land Cruiser, one guide, and a simple belief: that the best Tanzanian journeys are built by Tanzanians. Our founder grew up in Arusha — the safari capital of the world — between the slopes of Mount Meru and the vast plains of the Serengeti. After years of guiding international travelers, he saw how often trips felt rushed, formulaic, or disconnected from the people and places they visited.
So he started something different. A company that designs every itinerary from scratch — no cookie-cutter templates, no mass-market buses, no shortcuts. Every safari we plan is private, every route is hand-drawn, and every lodge we recommend is a place we've personally stayed in. Our team has since guided thousands of travelers across the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.
Today, we remain proudly independent, locally owned, and small by design. That's how we keep the level of care that earns comments like "everything was organized perfectly" from guests who travel with us.
